Simple solution to health of ageing population 

The first and most obvious response to an increasingly healthy and therefore growing number of older people in the population is to increase the statutory retirement age from 65 to perhaps 67 in the first instance says Professor Roger Short."This has been proposed by Lord Adair Turner in Britain, and provides a simple, immediate, practical solution to the problem," he says.
